We made this bespoke sized rug for a special show we did in Santa Monica. Inspired by the Italian architect Carlo Scarpa this geometric rug feels like an artwork for your floor. Hand dyed and woven using a special ikat technique Ptolemy Mann has developed with her weavers in India. A stunning homage to the gelims from Northern Iran as featured in the book 'Undiscovered Minimalism'. Flatwoven in 100% wool with a signature pinstripe at each end. These are a truly unique rugs.

Scarpa comes in two standard sizes and bespoke sizes can be made to order. Please contact the studio for details. Expertly hand dyed and woven in India these flat weaves are double sided and perfectly beautiful on both sides.
